Founded in Okinawa, the Miyagi Do is the dojo created by Mr Miyagi. Meaning “the way of Miyagi’ - it features the cloth banner woven by Miyagi’s wife, which was sewn onto the back of Daniel’s karate suit. The Miyagi Do motto: “When the fight Comes to you, you must be ready to fight back”.
This motto carries forward through the decades into the present day, and Daniel Larusso’s resurrection of the ‘Way of Miyagi’ and the creation of the dojo.
